"マザコン" in Japan!!

There are boys who are "マザコン" in Japan.
A "マザコン" is a boy who loves their mother so much than their girlfriend or wife.I never had a boyfriend who is one, but hear that they are a headache. It isn't that much trouble when your not married with him. In Japan, some married couples live with one of their parents. When you marry a husband who is a "マザコン", and live with his mother, it will be a disaster. Many couples get divorced by this problem. Most of it is from "嫁姑問題". When a problem happens between the wife and mother, the husband protects the mother, so the wife gets very lonley.
Then why do this problem happen? It's because the mother now a days protect their children so much, that they can't be independent when they grow up. The mothers can't are also worry about their children too much.
But did you realise? Their are more "マザコン" girls than boys in Japan. But because they are girls, it is not said to be unpleasant. In my group, we talked about these question. In America is it a problem?
I heard that in Italy the divorce rate is very low. This is because most the boys are "マザコン". I think this is a very serious topic. If it increases, declining birth rate won't recover.

Marriage and divorce in Japan!!

In Japan, the marriage rate is going down these years. This is because women are working just like man do now a days. People are loving their job more than having their own family. And there is no good law to support young couples to get married. Like the maternity leave, child care center, and also there are lots of transfer in Japan. This makes it difficult for people who both have jobs to get married.
The answer to why the divorce rate is rising is also because women is having a job now. And have a way to earn money. Years ago, when women were thougt to administer their husband and stay home, they couldn't divore. It was too risky. They didn't have a job, so couldn't live alone. It was very interesting when I saw the low divorce rate in Italy. I first thought that it was a very passion country. But the truth was that the marriage rate is very low because most men is oedipus complex in Italy. This was very funny, but the high prices are making this phenomenon. If the goverment wants more high birth rates, they should think again about why these problems are happening.
For my own opinion, I would rather have a family than having none. My plan is to get married in the middle of my 20's. And have two children. Still, I won't give up working. I don't think I could work as before getting married. But I could compromise a little. Half of my friends think they want to get married. Half doesn't. I asked them why. Most of them answered, getting married is troublesome to your carrier. From this I think there is two types of women now. Those who want to have a family and those who want a carrier. I don't think either is wrong. It depends on what kind of person you are and want to be. For plus information, when I asked my boy friends when they want to get married, most answered when they could afford it.

Groups in Japanese schools!!

There are not so much groups in Japan than in America.
I went to a private girls school for 6 years (junior high & high school). My school was strict in rules! Like skirts should be no shorter than 5 cm above your knee, tie your hair up if it touchs your shoulder with hairband(black or navy), etc.....We dressed the same, had the same bags, so the groups weren't made by our appearances. Still, there were groups. For example, the noisy ones and the silent ones.

Last week, my group was really discussing about coolness. I really want to hear the voice form Colorado students, what kind of people is cool to them.
By the way, in our group we discussed by picking up a drama. You can see the opening from
http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=VPSDGXFB4xs
The boys thought the first guy that apears is cool, but the girls thought the second guy wearing a white suit is cool.
What do you think?
